“I find the CSA scans work great for informational communications between co-workers here. Showing co-workers actual scans of areas is like being right there in the area. Drawing a sketch of talking about the area is just not the same as seeing it.
“Being able to scan the area, or to zoom in on an object that they are looking for, is like watching TV for them. I have not had a chance yet to show them how we can dimension objects that they view. When I do, they wil be at my desk all the time!”
“The laser scanning performed in the drywell during our last refueling outage is currently being used to design permanent drywell shielding. The dose savings is obvious; we can design the shielding during power operation for implementation during our next refueling outage. The scanning was completed in an efficient manner and under the dose budget planned for the work. Your staff was easy to work with, and completed the work ahead of schedule, which was critical to maintaining our outage schedule
